Wind Chime Constellations

The Furin Light Installation Resembles a Starry Night

The Furin light installation seems to mimic a stunning starry night. The exception is that these rows of constellations are not made from balls of gas but illuminated wind chimes that are at varying heights, which creates the shape of a wave.

Created by Japanese design engineering firm Takram, the Furin light installation resides in the OKAMURA Design Space R. It consists of 280 glass wind chimes, which ring and light up as people move by them.
