The Fabric Transformation Pavilion Constantly Changes Color

Michael Jantzen's Fabric Transformation Pavilion is a multicolored design concept that shifts between different hues dependent on the movement of its fabric and the needs of the spectator.

Similar to other creations by the artist, the design aesthetic is curvaceous and can be assembled and easily reassembled in many different ways to suit the unique preferences of those who are using it.

Each swirling piece of the sculpture is covered with an arrangement of red, green and yellow fabric that moves across the sustainably grown wood frame at varying speeds to creating a rippling wave of color.

The colored fabric can be set to circle the structure either automatically or based on the movement of the people who walk in and out of the pavilion.
