'EzLarm' Prevents Snoozing by Requiring Users to Get Out of Bed

Hitting the snooze button is a common occurrence for those who have to wake up early but can quickly cause them to be chronically late if allowed to continue, so 'EzLarm' is positioned as an effective way to avoid the process.

The alarm consists of a free app and a low-cost near-field communication (NFC) tag that can be positioned anywhere in the home the user desires. When the alarm goes off at the set time, the user will have no choice but to get up and bring it within proximity of the NFC tag to stop the sound.

The 'EzLarm' is a low-cost yet highly effective alarm clock alternative that was developed by Canadian students Colby and Harrison who were in search of a better way to wake up in the morning.
