Web-Like Contemporary Buildings

The Engineers’ Syndicate by ARK Architects is Inspired by Bu

The zig-zagging pattern of the Engineers’ Syndicate building may look like it was inspired by the web of a spider, but it was in fact inspired by "the movement of a human carrying a rock as an indication of the labour and toil being a builder, an architect," as reported on Plus Mood. This is only appropriate considering that the Engineers’ Syndicate structure has been created for the architect’s organization building in Syria.

The stunning facade of the Engineers’ Syndicate building is complemented with airy and contemporary rooms within. Flooded with natural light, the rooms seem to mimic the skeletal frame of the walls. Made out of steel and concrete, the Engineers’ Syndicate building is a new focal point of the city.
