The Eccentrica V12 Roadster Reimagines the Lamborghini Diablo

The Eccentrica V12 Roadster reimagines the Lamborghini Diablo as an open-top restomod engineered around the first-series model. Developed with Borromeo De Silva and led by former Lamborghini CTO Maurizio Reggiani, the project incorporates more than 3,500 bespoke components. Its carbon-fiber body sits over a reinforced steel spaceframe with a widened track, while structural carbon-fiber elements increase rigidity for the roofless design. Revised suspension geometry, semi-active dampers, hydraulic rack-and-pinion steering and Brembo brakes modernize the driving experience without departing from the original car's character.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V12 producing 550 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed gated manual transmission. The engine benefits from revised cooling systems, optimized airflow and custom ECU mapping, contributing to a tested top speed of 208 mph. Production will be limited to 19 individually commissioned examples, with each vehicle tailored to its owner's interior and exterior specifications ahead of its public debut at Monterey Car Week.
