Tabasco hot sauce is perhaps the most ubiquitous sauce ever made and the brand is celebrating this with a new limited-edition Diamond Reserve Red Sauce. While the sauce inside is quite special, part of the appeal comes from the unique bottle offered by Tabasco. The bottle itself does bear a striking resemblance to most champagne bottles, with a gold foil top and deep black bottle, but the entire package also comes in an exclusive looking gold box.
The exclusive Tabasco hot sauce within the bottle is a first for the company and is made from Avery Island peppers that have been aged in barrels for as long as 15 years. The long aging time helps the peppers develop intense flavor and complexity. After aging, the peppers were blended with sparkling white vinegar before being packaged in their limited-edition bottles.
