The Desert Nomad House is Modern Minimalism in the Middle of Nowhere

Nestled between the cacti and tumbleweed that make up the Arizona desert lies the Desert Nomad House. Created by architect Rick Joy of Rick Joy Architects in Tucson, these three separate structures are about as far from the city as you can get.

The 1,500-square-foot home consists of a bedroom and bathroom in the first unit, an office and study in the second unit, and a dining and living room area in the third unit. Each unit is comprised of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, allowing for natural light as well as fantastic scenic views.

While the estate offers a sense of solitude and tranquility nestled in its Sonora Desert setting, with its asking price of $975,000, this home is a little too rich for my blood.
