This is one cool lighthouse. Not because lighthouses are inherently cool (which they are) but because it's a reworked design of another piece of architecture. The Lighthouse Design Collective from Finland has reworked an old silo and turned it into an illuminated exhibit.
Architectural art is always unique in that the sheer size of it is much less understated than say a painting or a sculpture. When you see an piece of architectural art you know why it's cool, because it's either around you or starting straight in your face.
This silo is filled with perforated holes and those holes are filled with over 2,000 LED lights. This isn't the classic example of the kind of lighthouses that used to see ships to safety but it's the literal embodiment of a "light" house.
