To ensure the new burgers can make a change, Max Burger plans to plant enough trees to offset 110% of the carbon emissions the business produces.
This burger initiative expands on the company's existing carbon offsetting model, which includes the introduction of wind-based power and the inclusion of more plant-based menu items. However, the new program will also account for the carbon emissions its guests output, hence the extra 10% the company is trying to offset.
