STUDIOTAMAT Designs the Casa Rude Residence in Rome

Design studio STUDIOTAMAT creates the new Casa Rude, which is an apartment that is inspired by brutalist themes located in the suburbs of Rome in Toe de'Cenci. The residence is designed for a lawyer couple and it overlooks the Castelporziano Nature Reserve with captivating sea and wooden views. The focus highlights a retro theme and can be seen from the outside.

Co-founder of STUDIOTAMAT, Tommaso Amato explains the apartment's design, stating "What guided us in the design was the desire to enhance the distinctive features of the unique terraced building, dating back to the 1980s, which houses the apartment. We wanted to restore fluidity to the spaces, encourage the opening, and the discovery of pre-existing materials and details, on which to set a new vision."
