Cinco Sólidos Designs the Casa Aire for Musician J Balvin

Colombian architecture studio Cinco Sólidos designs a new home in the mountains right by Medellin dubbed the Casa Aire. The home is designed for musician J Balvin and it is made to appear as if the home is separate from a steep site. It is built parallel to a slope and filled with a series of room that is connected to a cantilevered pool and decks.

The studio speaks about the new home, stating that "In terms of its conceptual development, the house revolves around the interest of expressing lightness and buoyancy as principles. The design ensures that its interior and exterior are perceived as separate from the land on which it sits as if it were a house in the air."
