Reclaimed Brick Homes

NOJI Architects Recreated a Home Using Historical Stone

The NOJI Architects firm put together a brick home that bridges together the old and new design of different eras using reclaimed bricks in a new structural concept. The seamless transition between both old and new design offers a new perspective on using past architectural creations in a fresh way.

The project, entitled Brick Addition, focuses on the reusing of antiquated bricks into a newly designed home in Dublin. The house features a rebuilding of a previous design that incorporates adding a new extension to the premises to make the space more functional. To bridge the two spaces together, the firm used heritage bricks to join the two spaces seamlessly together as well as the original concrete into the newly designed large windows.
