Artistic Grid Statues

This Lattice Installation will be Placed in Brancott Estate Winery Garden

Designer Dror Benshetrit teamed up with wine maker Patrick Materman to create an artistic installation for the Brancott Estate Winery. Dror was inspired by the landscape and the grid-like structure of the winery's isles. The designer also wanted to incorporate the same geometric shapes that Dror is famous for.

The lattice installation will reach a height of nine meters and will feature a "series of interlocking units, which form a regular grid of diamond shapes."

The conceptual plan is to erect the structure within the Brancott Estate Winery in New Zealand next year. The elegant piece of art is to be a permanent installment that will become a symbol of the winery. The material that will be used is called 'Corten' steel. This particular steel will weather over the years, while maintaining its integrity to symbolize the winery's journey.
