Dutch architecture firm MVRDV has designed the Baltyk Tower for the Polish city of Poznań. The tower has staggered floors, making it look like a staircase. The building will consist primarily of offices, with a restaurant and a single hotel room also planned. The entire building is covered in glass, save for a single facade. The glass is specially designed to soften the light coming in.
MVRDV seems to be all over Europe, but the Baltyk Tower is actually the company's first foray into Poland. The structure will sit at the Rondo Kaponiera, a major intersection in the city. Its look will change depending on which way you're driving towards it, which will give the Baltyk Tower a variety of looks.
