Edmonton-Inspired Galleries

The Art Gallery of Alberta by Randall Stout Architects

It seems I may need to make a trip to Edmonton because I clearly have no context in which to truly judge why or whether the redesigned Art Gallery of Alberta is, in fact, inspired by the city. For now, I’ll just have to take Naresh Chauhan’s word for it.

Designed by Randall Stout Architects, the grand opening of the Art Gallery of Alberta is to take place this Sunday. A modern design accented with steel mesh, glass and zinc, it is definitely worthy of housing beautiful and rare art.
