The Around Pavilion is a simple, spherical structure that is meant to facilitate music, theatrical and storytelling events in the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. A gorgeous space even though it could be likened to a large and basic hut, the Around Pavilion interestingly compliments the 17th century castle in the King’s Gardens of the Rosenborg Castle, which it is specifically found.
Inspired by London’s Serpentine Gallery and New York’s MoMA PS1, the Around Pavilion was designed by Danish architects Jesper Kort Andersen and Mikkel Kjærgård Christiansen. Swipelife writes, "It was finished with the help of carpenter trainees from a technical college. Batons of Nordic pine were used so as to make it feel homey amongst its surrounding trees. Its circular cut renders a playful element to the garden’s geometrical assembly."
