Volkswagen Puts Its Adaptive Cruise Control to Work on the Back of a Bus

In order to show off the features of its Adaptive Cruise Control, Volkswagen took to the streets to show the importance of keeping a safe distance. Since it's not easy to show off the benefits of this technology without it actually being at work in a car, Volkswagen set up an interactive bus advertisement to give drivers a warning if they are at risk for collision.

The ad on the back of the bus provides a reading of the car's distance that is following directly behind it, making the features of the Adaptive Cruise Control very apparent. By putting this technology to work, non-VW drivers are better able to get a sense of their own driving habits and how the ACC technology could potentially be life-saving one day.
