Italian Brand 'Ideal Work' Debuted a Dyanmic New Acid Stain Finish

Italian design brand 'Ideal Work' leveraged acid stain finishings on concrete floors to create a compelling and unique aesthetic. While concrete flooring can be cold and harsh in certain settings, Ideal Work's new color-changing chemical solution mitigates this appearance, offering a beautifully variegated pattern.

The enhanced flooring is created when the acidic solution containing metallic salts reacts with free lime. By the end of the reaction, the stain is similar to the nuances of natural stone or weathered materials. This gives off a rich and natural-looking texture to overcome the industrial look of concrete. Seven standard color customization options are available, including Fern Green, Amber, Terracotta, Brown Turquoise, Ebony, and Jade.
