The Zen Stone Collection Fuses Life & Naturalistic Elements

Apiwat Chitappanya designed the Zen Stone collection for Thai brass furniture label Masaya. The inspiration behind the series was drawn from soothing zen gardens, highlighting the idea that the existing stones are considered to be souls that reside in the environment. This is translated through the different furniture structures that are incorporated to represent water and mindful elements. The capsule uses Shintai stones to center the balance that fuses together both life and nature in order to have a place that gathers both harmonious and relaxing sensibilities.

The Zen Stone collection features a sofa set, side table, armchairs and a screen, some of which are made using lost-wax brass casting. The furniture design is comprised of stock stacking methods elevated by golden accents seen through backrests and shapely structures.
