Liberating Themed Graphic Fashion

YMC's SS19 Range Spotlights the Chicano Movement From the 40s

Fashion label YMC introduces its latest seasonal capsule designed for Spring/Summer 2019 and it draws inspiration from liberation and expression that drove the Californian Chicano movement that took place in the 40s. Some of the highlighting pieces from the range include the brown bowling shirt with a tiger print and the label's iteration of the Bowie Zip shirt. This shirt is constructed from soft chambray materials accented with a birdman at the chest pocket through embroidery.

Additionally, the seasonal capsule also features loose silhouettes such as oversized trousers that are fashion-forward, functional, and traditional. Notably, the capsule is comprised of a series of details and graphics that directly nod to Latin America. This includes the Guatemalan rainbow tape informed through hand-weaving across hoodies, tees, and jersey shorts.
