Abandoned Warehouse Offices

The Office for WSA Studio Boasts Timber Ceilings and Brick Walls

Although warehouse office conversions are nothing new, the WSA Studio in Columbus was able to perfectly blend contemporary furnishings with an existing industrial aesthetic.

The building was built in the early 1900s and is right in the heart of a what used to be a bustling brewery district. Its former tenants had heavy timber ceilings, aged and distressed brick walls and large industrial windows. WSA Studio decided to retain and salvage the old and dilapidated features to keep the building's character and history in tact.

The company felt that keeping the old structural features allowed it to stay connected to the neighborhood and its surrounding businesses. The industrial structure is contrasted with modern, streamlined furnishings that allow this business to achieve the best of both worlds.
