XISUI Design has stunned individuals with Wonder Tree — a massive 26-meter-high steampunk magical forest installation spanning four floors within the commercial atrium of THE RING GARDEN CITY in Chongqing.
The Wonder Tree installation features over 200 fantastical plants flourishing along mechanical veins across a 4,000 square meter three-dimensional ecological space that enables immersive, multi-sensory exploration. The installation is rooted in the historical context of the Steampunk Era, presenting an idealized vision where the Wonder Tree acts as a living purifier that humanity has mechanized to purify regions globally. At the Seed Museum, visitors can select plant seeds from various origins via touchscreen displays that trigger educational content and illuminate selected specimens. In the Gene Cabin laboratory, the seeds germinate within enclosed canisters, and the Eden of Lives section features an activity platform where germinated seeds grow in open-air conditions. The installation incorporates functional systems including a Water Purification System, an Air Purification System, and more.
