Jameson's Customizable Bottles Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Ahead of St. Patrick's Day this year, Jameson is unveiling customizable whiskey packaging to put a personalized twist on celebrations. The whiskey brand is debuting bottles designed by Dublin-based illustrator Stephen "Hephee" Heffernan that feature phrases like "Your round" and "Last orders."

Thanks to the inclusion of an NFC-enabled chip and a QR code, the bottles help fans customize the bottles for their chance to win a limited-edition bottle of their own. The limited-edition connected bottles are being rolled out in 22 markets around the world and offer a new way for fans to digitally interact with the whiskey brand's packaging.

Interactive bottles are becoming increasingly popular for brands that want to engage with fans in one way or another for the purpose of promoting a campaign or simply sharing more details about a product's origins.
