This Wearable Bandage Tracks COVID-19 Symptoms

This wearable bandage has been developed by a team of researchers at Northwestern University to hope offer healthcare professionals with more insight into the symptoms experienced by those with COVID-19. The bandage works by being positioned on the base of the patient's throat and goes to work immediately capturing data that can be used by healthcare workers to monitor symptoms. This could help to drastically enhance healthcare capabilities, while also providing valuable insights for scientists on how the virus can affect a patient.

The wearable bandage is being used with 25 patients who have COVID-19 and has already captured more than 1TB of data that could be used in the present pandemic or even in the future to offer more insights to healthcare workers.
