Muted Tonal Athletic Sneakers

Mizuno and Wood Wood Introduce a Collaborative Wave Rider 10

Heritage Japanese sportswear brand Mizuno and Copenhagen-based brand Wood Wood work in collaboration on another iteration of the Wave Rider 10 silhouette. The sneaker made its original debut during a runway show in Copenhagen showcasing the brand's Fall/Winter 2020 selection with inspiration drawn from its previous seasonal range.

The runners boast a retro-tech theme through the muted tonal palette informed through multiple materials across the uppers. The gray mesh material serves as the model's base foundation with suede fabrics overlaying on top. At the toe spotlights hues of blue, burnt orange at the back, dusty pink leather at the eyestay, and burgundy by the mid panel. Rounding out the shoe is a black durable canvas at the rear corner and pink at the CS-1 shock absorption sole unit.
