This Project Reveals Art That Interacts with Its Surroundings

The artist Filip Sterckx is known for his work in projected artwork and these virtual paintings are part of his newest project.

Called the 'Gallery Invasion,' the artistic project first reveals glowing images on white canvas that has been displayed at a museum. The images are a projection and soon begin to interact with each other and their surroundings. The moving, virtual paintings are hypnotic as they reveal monkeys, people and objects doing different things while appearing to be paintings that have come to life. The project was directed by Sterckx and the projection mapping was done by 'Skullmapping.'
