Dutch architect firm 2012Architects has created a modern house named Villa Walpeloo in Enschede, the Netherlands which is entirely made from discarded meaterials.
Architects Jan Jongert and Jeroen Bergsma of the firm used old billboards and broken umbrellas to construct Villa Walpeloo. The duo adopted a very special recycling process where 60% of the exterior and 90% of the interior of the house consist salvaged materials.
Jan Jongert and Jeroen Bergsma even used Google Earth to find scap materials and requested the local people to drop their unused and broken umbrellas off for them to repurpose.
