The Vans x RAINS Collaboration Delivers Three Reworked Sneakers

The new collaborative Vans x RAINS collection draws inspiration from industrial scenery in Copenhagen. Delivering new offerings for the spring season, the designs feature a color palette, fabric and constructed elements that recall Refshaleøen—previously an industrial island located just off the harbor in Copenhagen. The Vans x RAINS collection reworks three of Vans' silhouettes: the Old Skools, the Sk8-Hi and the Slip-Ons.

The capsule utilizes RAIN's iconic jacket material, reflective accents and specialized aglets. There is also a footbed at the heels of each shoe that resembles an aerial perspective of Refshaleøen. Additionally, Vans' signature UltraCush Lite technology is incorporated into the sneakers to maximize comfort and minimize weight. The prices range from $70 to $80 and will be available online beginning March 14th.
