The police in Denmark came up with a unique way to show bicycle commuters the importance of wearing a helmet.

This is a heart warming video of police officers stopping bicyclists, hugging them and giving away helmets.

Truly living by the motto,"You catch more bees with honey than with vinegar."

It’s a great example for other police departments to follow. It shows it pays off to use nice methods to spread safety awareness rather than to be forceful and unkind in dealing with other people. And, in the end, a very clever psychological approach, because you are more reluctant to wear a helmet after getting a ticket.
