Robotic Bed Installations

Two Roaming Beds by Carsten Holler Carries Visitors Around the Exhibit

Two Roaming Beds may be the aptly descriptive name of an art installation, but it's also something that might inspire a tech company or furniture manufacturer to dream up for everyday purposes. The installation is comprised of two bed that roam around the exhibit to provide visitors with the most comfortable and convenient art experience they've ever had.

Created by Carsten Holler, the Two Roaming Beds installation is currently part of his "Decision" exhibition at the Hayward Gallery in London, England. Although scarily reminiscent of the future depicted in Pixar's film, WALL-E, it's undeniable that people will appreciate the concept on a very basic level. After all, who wouldn't want to stay in their bed for as long as they can?
