Historic Tribeca Townhouse Renovations

Yun Architecture Refurbished a House That Was Built in 1828

Situated in a chic industrial neighborhood in New York City, this Tribeca townhouse was given new life through the artistic direction of local practice Yun Architecture. The refurbished federal-style building boasts white walls and hardwood floors.

The most captivating elements within the interior design of the Tribeca townhouse are the varying design motifs— from a kitchen with confetti-style countertops and a cheerful yellow oven to living room's traditionally patterned wall rug and the 60s-inspired armchairs.

The Tribeca townhouse is now the dwelling of an artist couple who commissioned Yun Architects to renovate their new home. Although the building and the interior were quite run-down, the firm did its best in preserving the historic value within the design of the original building.
