Stilt Studios Designs the Treehouse Villas in Bali

Indonesian design firm Stilt Studios completes the Treehouse Villas, which is a series of villas that hone in on the surrounding nature for the Grün Uluwatu resort located in Bali. These rest on top of steel columns among the tree canopy and feature seven guesthouses in total. It overlooks views of the Indian Ocean and each villa has two stories including a living space and two bedrooms. The upper section functions as a panoramic roof terrace.

Lead architect at Stilt Studios Prayoga Arya Wirasana explains to Dezeen, "While most share a common design, each villa boasts its unique charm, accentuated by its distinct view – be it the serene ocean, lush forestry, or picturesque hills. [It is] a testament to the resort's commitment to immersive nature-centric experiences, deftly treading the delicate line between luxury and ecological responsibility."
