The Playground Plays Around With Grape Blends To Produce its Wine

The Playground is an alcohol brand that experiments or "plays around" with different grape combinations to make its line of fine wines.

Inspired by the popular 1980s Donkey Kong video game, the wine bottle's labels don quirky illustrations of funny-looking monkeys to represent the playful brand. The concept was adopted when wine-maker, Kym Teusner, mentioned that the booze brand throws barrels around the winery just like the kooky characters in the game. This is why The Playground features two monkeys on the label "playing around" on a seesaw (just like in a playground setting), which is teetering on a barrel.

Only a limited quantity of The Playground wines are released. They are sold at Teusner’s facility or on the website.
