The Khadas Tea Pro is a portable DAC and headphone amplifier that magnetically attaches to smartphones using a built-in array of 19 N56SH magnets. Measuring 7.85 millimeters thick and weighing 96 grams, the device features an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, an XMOS XU316 USB bridge, TI OPA1612 operational amplifiers, and Ricore RT6863 amplifier chips. It supports PCM playback up to 32-bit/768kHz, native DSD512, and includes both 4.4-millimeter balanced and 3.5-millimeter single-ended headphone outputs.
Wireless connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, and LDAC codec support, while a companion app enables equalizer adjustments over Bluetooth. A 2,100mAh battery delivers up to 11 hours of wireless playback or more than eight hours in wired mode, with a 0.95-inch AMOLED display showing playback information and battery status. The Khadas Tea Pro is priced at US$199 and also incorporates a dedicated analog volume control and an integrated microphone for voice calls.
