'The Arts Factory' Showcases the Work of Local Artists

While Las Vegas is better known for its glitzy stage shows and big-name acts, the city also has a thriving arts community that is often showcased through The Arts Factory. As a hub for the 18b Las Vegas Arts District, The Arts Factory is the perfect place for those attending Trend Hunter’s Las Vegas innovation conference to scope out some local talent.

The Arts Factory is an old commercial warehouse that was converted into a creative space for artists. There are more than 20 commercial-art tenants that reside in the building, as well as studios, a bar and a restaurant. The first Friday of every month, the public is invited to browse through the studios and check out the work of local creatives. The center also acts as a hub for community group meetings, arts classes and other cultural events such as concerts, plays and poetry readings.

The Arts Factory demonstrates how Las Vegas is nurturing its homegrown talent in addition to hosting outside acts.
