Tesco Insurance and Money Services has announced a new partnership with Aviva to offer a Free Parent Life Cover proposition to provide peace of mind for young families. The initiative offers each parent in a family with £15,000 of complimentary life coverage for each child under four years of age for 12 months to get families started on their insurance journey. The promotion responds to the reported three in 10 parents in the UK who list cost as a barrier as to why they haven't taken out policies yet.
Partnerships Director Ban Mahsoub spoke on the Tesco Insurance and Money Services Free Parent Life Cover offer saying, "We know that becoming a parent is one of life’s most important milestones, but it can also bring new financial responsibilities that many families feel unprepared for. Free Parent Life Cover is designed to give parents a simple, no-cost way to start thinking about protection and their financial futures, while offering immediate peace of mind."
