The Lapin House/Restaurant by Takeshi Hosaka is Industrial

The Lapin House/Restaurant in Japan by Takeshi Hosaka looks like steps going upwards from afar. The building is made up of several layers, with concrete being the main material used.

The front of the building is made most from glass, allowing people to look out at the surrounding landscape, as well as taking in the natural rays that shine through. The rest of the structure, however, takes on a much more industrial look, like one you would find in a loft for example. Part of the building is used for a restaurant, while the other half is used for living (more specifically the two highest levels). This way the owners are able to move seamlessly from the restaurant to their living space with the utmost ease. Photo Credits: designboom, hosakatakeshi
