Sunniva Rosenberg Designs a Minimal Extension to a Norwegian House

Oslo-based Sunniva Rosenberg is the one behind the latest annex that features a living space, dining area, open-plan kitchen, and outdoor dining space that overlooks a garden as a part of the L15 project. It builds upon an 80s family home that is built around an orchard within the town by the south coast of Norway.

Speaking about the new space, Rosenberg explains that "Through the footprint the extension creates new outdoor spaces and views which seek to optimise the site and connect the house to the garden, the place and the history." It is parallel to a road nearby and complete with existing pine trees and spruce that are all carefully placed throughout the garden.
