ROA's Street Art Animals Live on the Sides of Shipping Containers

Taking advantage of the natural lines on the sides of shipping containers, street artist ROA used this as the canvas to host his paintings of caged street art animals. As part of the North West Walls Festival in Belgium, the artist was invited to paint as part of an unusual installation. Rather than opting for a solid wall, this towering work of street art features shipping containers stacked one on top of another, making it an arresting statement-making piece that's impossible to ignore.

Each of the shipping containers features a single animal that's been caged, or restrained in some way or another. At the bottom of the installation about animals in captivity, one of the animals has even rotted away into nothing but a skeleton.
