The Stocky Bundle Matrix: EG in Seoul is Sustainably Typographical

In a design that aims to challenge the common conceptions of high rise residential towers and the strict planning regulations from local authorities in Seoul, Korean architecture firm Mass Studies has responded by creating a complex called 'Stocky Bundle Matrix: EG' with dual use in mind. The tower is located in the capital city of Seoul in South Korea with a black brick exterior that features a stepped reclining structure that rises up to 165 meters.

Inside the structure are meeting rooms, a cafe, a library and a juxtaposition of interior and exterior spaces that aim to bring nature indoors. The lower levels, the basement and the ground floor consist of neighborhood facilities, while the ground floor houses residential units. The tower provides 99 apartment units with 17 different and varying unit layouts.
