Fruit-Flavored Coffee Drinks

Starbucks Refreshers Offers a Boost of Natural Energy

Starbucks Refreshers is the coffee giant's newest line of iced coffee drinks, all of which are made with green coffee extract, something that Starbucks claims will give consumers a jolt of natural energy.

The new line of Starbucks Refreshers comprises three different types: handcrafted, ready-to-drink and VIA. The handcrafted version is made to order by a Starbucks barista and includes the flavors Very Berry Hibiscus and Cool Lime. The ready-to-drink beverages are lightly carbonated drinks available in Orange Melon and Raspberry Pomegranate flavors, while the VIA Refreshers mimic Starbucks' original VIA coffees and are packages of instant drinks you can mix with water (cold, not hot). The VIA Refreshers come in Cool Lime and Very Berry Hibiscus.

To promote the Starbucks Refreshers, the coffee chain is also giving away a free tall-sized drink at participating locations this Friday, July 13, between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Cliff Burrows, the president of Starbucks Americas, stated, "The introduction of Starbucks Refreshers™ beverage platform, featuring green coffee extract, is an innovative extension of the coffee market and is the perfect solution for customers looking for a boost of natural energy and thirst-quenching, delicious refreshment."
