Stellar Viewing Parties

The Texas Museum of Science & Technology is Offering a Weekly Star Party

Every night, a universe of exploration appears in the sky, and the Texas Museum of Science & Technology's 'Star Party' gives families the chance to look at it more deeply than they could with the naked eye alone. The free, weekly event lets families look through professional astronomers' telescopes while learning about the stars outside of our own solar system.

Though it's called the Star Party, attendees can look at any objects in the night sky, including planets, satellites, and the moon. The entire experience is led by local astronomers who are there to help with any questions and elucidate just what one is looking at through the powerful telescopes.

The Star Party is held every Friday night in the Texas Museum of Science & Technology's parking lot (clear skies permitting.)
