The 'Solo 01' Mobile Home Offers Living Space for One

The 'Solo 01' mobile home has been created by India-based designer and architect Arun Prabhu NG of The BILLBOARDS Collective as an alternative housing option for one person.

The micro-housing concept is built on the back of an auto rickshaw and features a six-foot-by-six-foot detachable living space within that focuses on flexibility. The home has a kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom, a rooftop terrance and even additional countertop space to be used as required by inhabitants or merchants alike.

The 'Solo 01' mobile home was explained by Prabhu who said, "Though unspoken about, small scale architecture is the most relevant in India and is often scrutinized for being underutilized in terms of space. Our vision is to shine a light on how to constantly improve the way of life of people around us without space or budget as parameters."
