This week the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology in Lisbon, Portugal reopened after shutting down for some time due to the government-imposed COVID-19 lockdown, and now, the institution is boasting some design-forward social distancing signage that is bound to capture the attention of patrons. The objects were brought to reality by local designer Sam Baron who used bricks, green tape, and mirrors as the primary materials for this project.
The 3D social distancing signage system has a raw and industrial aesthetic that effortlessly inserts itself into the setting of the e Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology. In addition, the "brick-and-mortar" interventions prove to be quite easily removed from the premises which is a bonus for when the need for physical distancing comes to an end.
