SmartSense by Digi Monitors Temperature for Food Safety

SmartSense by Digi, an IoT developer, is now used by various restaurant franchises for temperature monitoring. The Internet of Things, or IoT, brings unique benefits to restaurant operations. Digi's SmartSense tracks temperatures with two methods. Embedded sensors provide continuous temperature monitoring, which is the first method. The second is a Bluetooth monitor for food-safety temperature logging and spot checks. The device alerts its operators if temperatures are not up to standard and food safety codes.
