'Sinemia' Has Introduced a Low-Cost Plan for Seeing Movies

Heading to the cinema used to mean shelling out ample money to see a single feature, but Sinemia has resolved to change this with a new low-cost monthly subscription service. Subscribers can choose between four different packages that will offer between one and three tickets starting at just $4.99 per month, which will come as welcome news to those looking to make heading to the cinema a more frequent affair.

While competitor MoviePass offers subscribers the ability to see up to one movie per day each month, this approach wasn't chosen by Sinemia given that many consumers don't go to the cinema that often to further maximize cost-effectiveness. Speaking on this, CEO Rifat Oguz was quoted as saying, "Not everyone really needs an unlimited moviegoing experience. The average in the U.S. is four movies per year."
