OUT Unveils the new SEIDEL Design, Marking its First Throw

Berlin-based furniture studio is led by the minds of Reinhard Wessling, David Spinner, and Christoph Steiger -- it now unveils the latest SEIDEL design. At a first glance, the SEIDEL appears to be a striped throw blanket, which notably marks the first throw by the studio as well. However, at a closer look, the stripes boast a unique texture.

The blanket is made from pure organic cotton and has a velvety texture that is a result of repeatedly brushing the material after the throw has been woven. It is made in a bright color palette detailed with abstract shapes for an expressive design language. The throw is also produced at a traditional Bavaria weaving mill and comes in six colorways.
