San Francisco-based designers Seth Murray and Bret Recor of Box Clever created the Segment Table, a design inspired by the shifting tectonic plates that shape the landscape of San Francisco.
Composed of four slabs of concrete, the tabletop features deep grooves that stretch all the way down the legs, creating a cunningly decorative design feature that also allows the user to interact with the table in an interesting way. Three metal accessories accompany the table: a brass bowl, a copper dish and an aluminum tray. The metal accents complement the concrete and can be inserted within the grooves as functional additions.
With organic ease, the Segment Table provides an intuitive transition from work to life.
