This second hand smoking campaign comes out of Texas and points out the downside of smoking in relation to eating and drinking. Second hand smoke is a major cause of lung cancer, which is why more attention is being paid to preventing it.
Restaurant owners are targeted with one of these ads. It features a hamburger made of cigarettes and is accompanied by a caption reading "Secondhand smoke is ruining the experience for some of your guests. That’s costing you money."
This is an interesting angle to take in a second hand smoking campaign because it actually isn’t appealing to anyone’s desire for good health, but instead focusing on the economic impact of second hand smoke.
