Alberto Camp Baeza Designed the VT House in Madrid

The official title of this seaside residence, designed by Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza, is the 'VT House;' however, it is also known as the "House of the Infinite," an appellation that's well-deserved.

The home, which is located in Cadiz, Spain, is a piece of landscape architecture that stretches out towards the shoreline. The architect explains, "We have erected a house as if it were a jetty facing out to sea. On this resoundingly horizontal plane, bare and denuded, we face out to the distant horizon."

The building is comprised of a rectangular box that measures 20 meters wide and 36 meters deep, though the upper terrace enhances the impression one has of the size. Under the rooftop plane are two storeys, built from travertine stone, in an ode to Cadiz's Roman heritage.
